VegHealthy Rawa Masala Dosa recipe that's easy to prepare and lower in calories than the traditional version. It uses minimal oil, includes veggies, and uses no fermentation.
Ingredients
½ cup Rawa (Semolina)
2 tbsp Rice flour
¼ cup Curd (low-fat)
½ cup Water (as needed)
Salt – to taste
1 tsp Oil (for cooking)
1 medium Boiled Potato
½ Onion (sliced)
1 tsp Oil
½ tsp Mustard Seeds
½ tsp Urad dal
1 Green chili (chopped)
Few Curry leaves
Turmeric – a pinch
Salt – to taste
Fresh coriander (optional)
Instructions
Mix rawa, rice flour, curd, and salt.
Add water gradually to make a thin batter. Rest for 10–15 mins
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and green chilies.
Add sliced onion and sauté till translucent.
Add mashed boiled potato, turmeric, and salt. Mix well.
Garnish with coriander.
Heat a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladle of batter and spread it thin.
Drizzle a few drops of oil and cook on medium flame until crisp.
Place a portion of the masala filling in the center and fold.
