Healthy Rawa Masala Dosa recipe that's easy to prepare and lower in calories than the traditional version. It uses minimal oil, includes veggies, and uses no fermentation.

Ingredients

1.

½ cup Rawa (Semolina)

2.

2 tbsp Rice flour

3.

¼ cup Curd (low-fat)

4.

½ cup Water (as needed)

5.

Salt – to taste

6.

1 tsp Oil (for cooking)

7.

1 medium Boiled Potato

8.

½ Onion (sliced)

9.

1 tsp Oil

10.

½ tsp Mustard Seeds

11.

½ tsp Urad dal

12.

1 Green chili (chopped)

13.

Few Curry leaves

14.

Turmeric – a pinch

15.

Salt – to taste

16.

Fresh coriander (optional)

Instructions

1.

Mix rawa, rice flour, curd, and salt.

2.

Add water gradually to make a thin batter. Rest for 10–15 mins

3.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and green chilies.

4.

Add sliced onion and sauté till translucent.

5.

Add mashed boiled potato, turmeric, and salt. Mix well.

6.

Garnish with coriander.

7.

Heat a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladle of batter and spread it thin.

8.

Drizzle a few drops of oil and cook on medium flame until crisp.

9.

Place a portion of the masala filling in the center and fold.
