Ingredients
1 ripe guava (medium-sized)
1–1.5 tbsp organic jaggery (adjust to taste)
2 cups water (filtered)
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
¼ tsp black salt (optional)
Few mint leaves (optional)
Juice of ½ lemon (optional, for added vitamin C)
Instructions
Prepare Guava: Wash and chop the guava into small pieces. Remove seeds if you prefer a smoother texture.
Boil: Add the guava pieces and water to a pan. Let it boil for 8–10 minutes until the guava softens.
Mash and Strain: Mash the boiled guava in the water and strain the mixture using a fine sieve or muslin cloth.
Add Jaggery: While the mixture is still warm, add jaggery and stir until it dissolves.
Flavor It: Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, and mint leaves for digestion and flavor.
Serve chilled:
